David leads Freestone Real Estate’s strategic direction and operations. With deep experience in development, construction oversight, and financial underwriting, he brings a disciplined and values-driven approach to every project. Prior to Freestone, David was a Director at Sweetwater Holdings where he oversaw deal execution. David began his career in project management at Taylor & Mathis.

Joe blends entrepreneurial leadership with operational depth, guiding Freestone’s business development and execution. Before co-founding Freestone, he built Tanalta | Real Estate, focusing on office and industrial land, and co-founded Go Doorstep, scaling it to serve thousands of multifamily communities before its successful sale in 2020. His broad experience across real estate and operations strengthens Freestone’s ability to deliver sustainable value.

BJ leads Freestone Construction’s operations and delivery strategy, ensuring excellence across project execution. With more than a decade of experience managing complex builds, he previously led teams at Brasfield & Gorrie across commercial, multifamily, and industrial sectors and managed military and government facility work at Clement Group. BJ’s leadership combines technical expertise with a commitment to quality and collaboration.

David brings more than four decades of real estate and construction expertise to Freestone. Previously a partner and Chief Development Officer at Walton Communities, he led development of more than 7,000 apartments and launched two in-house construction companies. David’s deep experience in both development and build execution makes him a strategic asset across Freestone’s integrated work.
